The Milkman’s Daughter Approach
Step One
Initial Call
After you fill out an inquiry form, MD will reach out to set up a complimentary 30-minute call via Google Meet. This gives you the opportunity to discuss your event in detail. We can answer any questions you have, you can answer any questions we have. We can chat about your vision and how we can help that vision come to life. We will also have some price points ready for you based on the answers you provided in your inquiry form. After the call, we send you a detailed email with everything we talked about, including a quote.
Step Two
Booking
Once you respond with a written confirmation that you want to proceed with our services. We will then send you an invoice and contract via Square. Once we receive the 50% nonrefundable deposit and a signed contract, your date and time are secured in our calendar, and we will begin getting to work.
Your date and time frame are not secured in our calendar unless you make the deposit and sign the contract.
Step Three
Tasting & Presentation
A complimentary Tasting & Presentation Test is only for our Designer-level bartending services clients. 🙂 If you booked any other package, please proceed to step four!
Taste Tests ensure that you like the specs of the bespoke drinks we have made specially for you, bearing in mind all of your wants and needs! Plus, you can see the presentation of your signature drinks in full for how it will look on the day of the event.
Step Four
Alcohol Guide
We create all of our clients’ Alcohol Shopping Guides!
The guides include a breakdown of how much of each alcohol type you will need — spirits, beer, wine, and liqueur. For example, if you will offer your guests beer, wine, and cocktails, we will do the math to determine how many cases of beer, bottles of wine, and spirit bottles you will need. We also include brand and store recommendations based on your priorities — addressed during the initial consultations. For example, some of our clients want to impress their guests with top-shelf liquor; others don’t want to break the bank — both are plausible and understandable priorities — so we recommend brands based on your wants and needs!
The goal of our Alcohol Guide is to make your shopping trip (or delivery order) as seamless as possible!
Step Five
Bar Menu
*If you booked a cocktail class, move on to the next step. ✨
Unless otherwise requested, we create all of our bar menus in-house! So, after that alcohol guide comes through, keep an eye out for the bar menu! We always send the bar menu ahead of print so you can approve it!
A bar menu is included in the Platinum, Luxe, Designer, and Build-Your-Own-Cocktail Bar packages. It is not included in the B&W bartending package.
